Death of “Tim” Neuway. The death of Emmett Neuway occurred September 28, 1918 at Camp Dix, New Jersey from pneumonia. His mother, Mrs. J.L. Brown, received the message Wednesday morning and immeditely answered the message requesting the body be shipped here for burial. Under the circumstances funeral arrangements have not been made but will likely occur Saturday or Sunday.
This is the first death known to occur among the boys entering the Army from Burrton. The mother received a message of his illness a week ago and had heard nothing further until the message announcing his death.
