Motorcyclist killed in Harvey County crash
A 58-year-old man died late Sunday after sustaining injuries from a motorcycle accident. The incident, in which his motorcycle hit a car, happened three miles south of Newton on old Highway 81, according to the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office. No name has been given, and officials were still contacting next of kin. (Harvey County Sheriff’s Office, May 29, 2017).
A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night in a collision with a pickup in Harvey County. Sheriff’s Deputy Carman Clark said that the motorcyclist ran a stop sign around 7:45 p.m. while heading west at 72nd Street (K-196) and South Kansas Ave, (Old Highway 81), south of Newton. Two people in the pickup were unhurt. Clark indicated the name of the motorcyclist will not be released until Tuesday, after relatives are notified. (KAKE TV, Wichita Kansas. May 29, 2017).
