Obituary

Ryan Keith Ragland, 27, electrician for Alcoa Aerospace Center, formerly of McBride Electric, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005. He was born Feb. 9, 1977, to Harold Jr. and Shirley (Golbek) Ragland in Newton. He graduated from Valley Center High School and then served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Survivors include: spouse, Amber; parents, Harold Jr. and Shirley Ragland; brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Janelle Ragland; brother, Brad Ragland all of Wichita; grandmother, Marie Golbek of Sedgwick; step-daughters, Brooklynn and Cydnee Dosssey; nephews, Caleb and Luke Ragland of Wichita; uncle and aunt, Keith & Elaine Sundbye of Halstead; cousins: Jerry and Suzanne Sundbye of Westminister, Colo.; Wade and Marcella Sundbye and their four children of Oklahoma City.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Harold Ragland Sr. and Henry Golbek; and grandmother, Ida Pope.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Westlink Christian Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd, Wichita. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
