Excerpt from Tornado article - Evening Kansan-Republican May 26, 1917
Theodore Blurton, a 19-year-old young man was caught by the storm near the cemetery at Sedgwick while riding horseback to his home southeast of town. He was fatally injured and died early this morning after being taken to a hospital in Wichita.
