Obituary

Diann F. Koehn, 52, of Newton died Friday (June 11, 2010) at her rural Newton residence. She was born on March 30, 1958, in Newton to Harlan and Edna (Koehn) Koehn. Diann was a member of Eden Church of God in Christ Mennonite of rural Burns and was a licensed practical nurse for Kidron Bethel Healthcare in North Newton. She enjoyed being outside and tending flowers. Diann greatly looked forward to spending time with her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include her father, Harlan Koehn of rural Newton; mother, Edna Koehn of rural Newton; sister, Beverly Koehn of rural Newton; brother, Steve and Barbara Koehn of rural Newton; three nephews; one niece; and many friends and relatives.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Eden Church of God in Christ, Mennonite with Lowell Koehn, Vernon Koehn and Roland Koehn officiating. Burial will be at Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery in Burns. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and Gospel Tract and Bible Society in care of the funeral home.
