Obituary

Mary J. “Sam” Beebe, 65, died Tuesday (June 1, 2010) at Newton Medical Center. She was born in Moundridge on Aug. 12, 1944, to Milford P. and Martha J. Krehbiel Stucky. She married Edgar R. Beebe on Feb. 25, 1967. He died on May 13, 1998. She was a homemaker, waitress and cook. Survivors include one son, Shane and Stacy Beebe of Viola; two brothers, Larry and Gene Stucky, both of Colorado; three sisters, Jan Hallada and Virginia “Toots” Haight, both of Colorado, and Martha “Jo” Biggs of Moundridge. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Hesston Mennonite Church in Hesston. isitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today with the family present at Hesston Mennonite Church. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Hopefield Church Cemetery in rural Moundridge. emorial donations may be given to Victory in the Valley in care of the funeral home.
