White, Walter



Walter Eugene White, 61, a construction worker, loving brother, uncle and great-uncle, passed away Friday (June 18, 2010). He was born in Hutchinson to Victor David White, Sr. and Mary Josephine (Wilson) White, who preceded him. He was a member of St. Luke Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his brother, Victor White Jr. of Topeka; sister-in-law, Tracy Duffman of Newton; nieces, Vanessa Coleman and Trianna Jones, of Newton; four great-nephews; and two great-nieces. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at St. Luke Presbyterian Church in Newton. Private burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke Presbyterian Deacon’s Benevolence Fund, 808 E. Sixth St., Newton, KS 67114. Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center is in charge of arrangements.
