Obituary

Louis LaVerne Regier, 70, of Newton, died Monday (June 21, 2010) at his residence at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1939, in Brandon, Colo., to Theodore and Betty Jane (Gerard) Regier.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; son, Douglas (Wendy) Regier; daughters, Teresa (Chris) Fluck and Cheryl (Russell) Plumley; grandchildren, Jonathan and Caitlin Fluck; and brother Ted (Sharon) Regier. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Jo Kincaid.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Zion Mennonite Church in Elbing. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice of Wichita.
