History

Henry and his wife came to Newton,Ks in 1882 from Germany. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad as a section forman. He was familiarly known by his fellow workmen as "House". He died from blood poisoning developing in a finger which had been pierced by a splinter.Henry and Maria had eight children.
