Janice K Havens, 11 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard C. Havens, 1202 South Walnut street, died early Sunday morning at Bethel Deaconess Hospital. She had been in ill health for some time and was admitted to the hospital a few hours before her death occurred. One of twelve children in the family, Janice was was born in Newton, July 11,1947. In addition to her parents, she is survived by six sisters, Phyllis, Marilyn, Shirley, Helen, Sandra, Jo Beth, and five brothers, Clyde, Vernon, Larry, Virgil, and Harold. She also leaves her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Havens of Newton; a grandmother, Mrs A. Sattler of Walton; and a number of uncles and aunts. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at ten-thirty at the Draper Funeral Home. Rev. W. H. J. Moore, pastor of the Presbyterian church in Peabody, will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may see Janice anytime this evening at the funeral chapel.
