The Newton Kansan

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Klabau, who died Thursday at axtell Christian Hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday a 1st Presbyterian Church. the Rev. Louis L. Dale will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery by the side of her husband. The body will be at Draper's Funeral Home this evening and Sunday. A near lifelong resident of Newton, Mrs. Klabau was born and spent her early childhood on a farm in Highland Township, north of newton. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kleinknecht. She attended Newton Schools.She married Martin A. Klabau Nov. 30,1899 in Newton,Mrs. Klabau was an early member of the 1st Presbyterian Church and Sunday School. Survivors include one son Theodore A of Lindsay, Calif. a sister Miss Katherine Klienknecht of Newton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Newton Kansan Oct 4,1969
