Maggie Florence Milne was born March 8, 1872 and departed this life March 28, 1931, aged 59 years and 20 days. She was the daughter of James and Sarah Milne.

She grew to womanhood in the home near Putnam, receiving her education in the county schools, married, reared her family, lived a happy useful life in the same county and within a very short distance of the place of her birth.

November 30, 1895, she was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Harrison M. Lowman to which union were born three children, two daughters and one son, all of whom survive her.

She was a devoted wife and mother a good neighbor and a loyal friend and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her and came in intimate contact with her.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two daughters, Mable rersiding at home, Elsie [Mrs. W. R. Schroeder of Newton] and her son Francis M., of Fort Riley, Kansas: also three brothers, William Milne of Wichita, Kansas, James and George Milne of Sedgwick, one sister, Mrs. William Dorr of Caldwell, Kansas, two grandchildren, two uncles and a large host of friends.
