Obituary

Russell G. [Doc] Musser, 75, 1208 E. 12th, died Friday at Bethel Deaconess Hospital. He was a retired county highway department employee. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. David Jeske in charge. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Musser is survived by the widow ,of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Demain, Carroll, Iowa, and Mrs. Maxine Hall, Atlantic, Iowa; five sons Wayne M., Torrance, Calif, and Frank W., Marvin D., Alvin R. and lloyd D., all of Newton; a sister, Mrs. Arch [Ruth] Grapengarter, Newton; a brother, Ted, Twin Falls, iowa.; A daughter Jean preceded him in death. He was born Aug 16, 1901, in Crawfordsville, Ind., the son of James and daisy Musser and came here from Colorado in 1908. He was married to Bertha L. Sattler May 24, 1928 in Newton.
