Elsie May (Lowman) Schroeder

Elsie May Schroeder, 82, 305 W. 6th, a homemaker, died Monday (May 19, 1986) at Bethel Deaconess Hospital.

Services will be at 2p.m. /wednesday at Petersen's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rollin Hole officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 30, 1903, in Putnam the daughter of Harrison and Margaret Lowman. On June 27,1922, she married Walter Schroeder in Newton. He survives. She was a longtime Newton resident and a member of the First Christian Church.

Other survivors include one son, Monroe R. Schroeder, of Newton; one daughter, Florence Ziegler, of Newton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
