Jessie McCormick Hart

Mrs. Jessie M. Hart, 92, formerly of 121 E. Second, died Friday at the Bethel Home for Aged. She was a retired school teacher.
Born on Oct. 5, 1897 in Clay Center, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. McCormick. She was married to Charles C. Hart and he died in November, 1952. Mrs. hart moved to Newton in 1922 from sedgwick and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, P.E.O. and Beauceants.
Survivors include a son, Willis H. Hart, Prairie Village, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
