When she was three years age, her parents moved to Kansas, taking a homestead near Washington. She married Charles G. Barker, September 26, 1889. After their marriage they resided near Washington, Kansas, until January, 1902, when they moved to Newton, her home until her death. Children Ethel, Earl and Roy. One daughter died in infancy.
