Mrs. Gertrude D. Fluke, 100, formerly of Newton Rt. 5 and a lifetime Harvey County resident died Saturday at Friendly Acres Home for the Aged where she had resided since 1969.

Services will be conducted a 2 p.m. Tuesday at Draper-Cannon Chapel with the Rev. L. Roger Todd officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

She was born May 8, 1881, in Harvey County, the daughter of James and Mary Ann Huntington Walton. On Sept. 24, 1904, she married Andrew Fluke in Harvey County, He died May 1, 1928.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Friendship Club, both of Newton.
