Mrs. Helen Smolt received a message today telling of the death of her brother, Will C. Glendening, which occurred this morning about 9:30 in a hospital at Texarkana, Ark., where he had undergone a surgical operation. His home was in Dallas, Tex.

Mr. Glendening leaves his widow, his sister Mrs. Smolt of newton, his sister Mrs. C. B. Warkentine of Kansas City, and a brother Arthur Glendening who resides in Washington state.

Mr. Glendening will be brought to Newton, but the time of arrival and details of funeral plans were unknown here today. He was 63 years old.

(Funeral was held Saturday Jan. 18, at the Sprinker Mortuary at 3:00 p.m., Rev J. W. Bays officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.)
