Mrs. Kizzie A. Rickman,91, died at her home at 917 High Saturday night.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Draper Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. R.C. Williams in charge. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Rickman is survived by three daughters, Mrs. B. A. (Lucy) Offutt of Newton, Mrs. G. M. (Helen) Work of Arkansas City, and Mrs. E. W. (Pauline) Walker of Nickerson: by three sons. Clifford L. and Theodore J. of Newton and J. Lawrence of Stockton, Calif.: by a sister Mrs. A.L. Johnson of Los Angeles: by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was born in Pike County, Illinois, May 3, 1869, the daughter of Monroe and Lucy N. Coger Clark, coming to Kansas as an infant. She married at Valley Center to J. R. Rickman on Dec. 6, 1888. He died in September, 1939. Mrs. Rickman had lived in Newton for 36 years.
She was a member of the C.M.E. Church and Missionary Society.
