Obituary

Martha H. Epp, 89, passed away on Saturday (Sept. 11, 2010) at Pleasant View Home in Inman.

She was born on May 22, 1921, in Inola, Okla., the daughter of Henry J. and Katie Schroeder Klassen.

She worked as a registered nurse for Hutchinson Hospital before retiring in 1983. She was a member of Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church in Inman. On June 5, 1946, she married Wesley Epp in Halstead. He survives.

Other survivors include sons, Robert A. of Greenwood, Mo., and Steven J. of Inman; a daughter, Janet Heinrichs of Emporia; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Buhler Mortuary in Buhler. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church in Inman, with Pastor Dwight Carter officiating. Burial will follow the service at North Inman Cemetery in Inman.
