Obituary

Darlene Mamie (Walker) Scott, 74, passed away on Aug. 22, 2010, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. She was born on April 17, 1936, in Newton, the daughter of Aurora E. and Florence R. (Stubblefield) Walker.

She was employed at Vegas Valley Convalescent Hospital for 26 years. Darlene graduated from Newton High School in 1954 and married Cline D. Scott in 1955. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughter, Desiree Scott of Las Vegas; sons, Craig and Caran Scott, both of Las Vegas; twin brother, Dennis H. Walker of Newton; sister, Joyce Jean (Walker) Franklin of Newton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deian Berry; sister, Jacqueline (Walker) Cotten; and brother, Earl O. Walker.

Service was on Sept. 1 at Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas.
