PEABODY -- Jack F. Hall, 89, of Peabody, retired sales manager for L.B. Price Mercantile Co., which operated in many towns in the Midwest, died Thursday (Jan. 20, 2000) at Peabody Community Living Center.
He was born June 4, 1910, in Thedford, Neb., to Charles A. and Opal Pearl (Steele) Hall. He married Marie Adella Janzen in 1930. She preceded him in death in 1980.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 142, both of Newton.
Survivors include: one brother, Bill Hall of Newton; one sister, Mary Frances Krauskopf of Santa Barbara, Calif.; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two nephews; and one niece.
Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton with the Rev. Alden Dick from First Baptist Church officiating.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with Newton Masonic Lodge 142 in care of the funeral home
