Obituary

Kansan, Wednesday, March 4, 1925.

Christian Green, aged 89, one month and 17 days, died at his home two miles northwest of Newton at 7:30 this morning following an illness of three weeks.

Mr.Green and his family are early settlers of Harvey county, having come here from Covington, Ky., in 1878 and located on the present home place.

He is survived by his wife and three children, Miss Anna and Adolph, who are at the home, and Mrs. W. F. Kater, who lives near the home place.

Funeral services will be held at the Immanuel Evangelical church in this city, Friday at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Greenwood cemetery.
