Mrs. Ora McCann's death is and will be deeply mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends. She was just in the prime of life being only twenty five years old. She leaves a husband and four young children. Mrs. McCann was a sincere Christian, a devoted wife and mother, loved by all who knew her and respected by the entire community. She was a member of the Mclain Presbyterian church and president of the Ladies Aid Society. The funeral service was held yesterday afternoon. Rev. J. Y. Ewart preached from I Thess. 4:18, "Wherefore comfort one another with these words." The building was filled to overflowing. Internment in Newton cemetery.
