Charles William Bessmer, 86, of Bethel Home for the aged, died early today at Bethel Deaconess Hospital.
Mr. Bessmer was born April 24, 1880 in Freemont N.Y., the son of John G. and Rosina Bessmer. He moved to Newton with his parents in 1882 from New York and had been a resident of this area since.
