Obituary

Death came to Mrs. C.E. Morey Tuesday evening at Grace Hospital, Hutchinson, where she had been a patient for five weeks, and Duff and Son of this city were summoned to prepare for the last sad service that her loved ones can give her.

Her mother, Mrs. Ed Roussell and her brother, Cliff and sister, Mrs. John Steinkirchner of this city, a sister, Mrs. H. E. Cook of Mountain View California, and John Goodwin, son of the deceased, are left to comfort and sustain the bereaved husband.

Mrs. Morey was born in Lawrence, August 26, 1881 and made her home in Newton with her parents in former years.

The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Rev. Thomas Mabley, rector, in charge. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
