Obituary

Clifford E. (Junior) Rousell, 76, died Sept. 13, 2000, at Franciscan Hospital in Tacoma, Wash.

He was born July 22, 1924, to Clifford E. and Sarah (Ditlow) Rousell in Halstead. They preceded him in death. He married Katsui (Kay) Kameyama Aug. 27, 1956, in Tokyo, Japan. She survives.

In 1949 he enlisted with the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1969. He was employed as a maintenance mechanic and building supervisor with Pacific Lutheran University, retiring after 18 years of service in September of 1997. He was a member of the Rod and Gun Club, the BPOE in Tacoma and the NRA.

Other survivors include: two sons, Clifford Rousell of Port Orchard, Wash., and Charles Rousell of Normandy Park, Wash.; a daughter, Barbara Rousell of Tacoma, Wash.; a brother, Charles Rousell of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Loren W. Hickerson officiating.
