William E. “Bill” Murphy, 78, died Saturday (Oct. 30, 2010) at Robert J. Dole Veterans Hospital in Wichita. He is survived by his brother Thomas P. Murphy of Burlington, Mass. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 2, at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. Graveside committal service with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 3) at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, with the Rev. Jim Anderson presiding.
