Obituary

Neva Belle Banion, 83, Wesley Medical Center medical transcriptionist, passed away on Wednesday (Nov. 3, 2010).

She was born in Walton and grew up in the Newton area.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney; son, Neal Brady of Wichita; step-daughters, Debbie (Matt) Gibbs of Belton, Mo., and Terry (Tommy) Wood of Ottawa; seven grandchildren including Scott, Matthew and Erin Brady; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dale Work; and a sister, Vi Barker.

Visitation with family present will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cochran Mortuary. Memorials can be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland.
