Obituary

Eva M. Robertson, 97, died Wednesday (April 14, 2004) at Buhler Sunshine Home.

She was born May 26, 1906, to Carson and Florence (Miller) Reed in Burrton. She married Wallace Robertson May 1, 1926, in Granby, Mo. He preceded her in death in September 1968. She was a lifetime Burrton resident and graduate of Burrton High School. She worked as a seamstress all her life, had been a cook at the Burrton school and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church in Burrton. She was a member of Olivets Women's Group, the Garden Club, the Order of the Eastern Star, Past Matrons and JLBS Daughters, all of Burrton.

Survivors include: a daughter, Sue Johnston of Broomfield, Colo.; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Robertson of Pratt; a brother, Reymond Reed of Trophy Club, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by: two sisters, Maude Langor-Holder and Mary Gladys Rowlands; a brother, Carson Leslie Reed; a son, Harry Carson Robertson; a daughter, Wanda Maxine Stone; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary in Hutchinson. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church of Burrton with the Rev. Sherman Sack officiating. Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery. Memorials have been established with First Christian Church of Burrton in care of the funeral home, 1219 N. Main Street, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
