Weber, Donald
Donald R. Weber, 67, passed away Saturday (Nov. 13, 2010) at his home in Newton.
He was born on July 22, 1943, in Wellington, the son of Raymond and Juanita (Hoyt) Weber. He worked as a lineman for Westar Energy for many years. On June 3, 1973, he married his wife, Annita, in Clayton, N.M. She survives of the home. Donald was a member of the U.S. Army, where he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge (Hobo) of Newton and also was a member of the Midian Shriners of Wichita, where he drove kids in the Shriners bus to the Shriners Hospital in St. Louis.
He is survived by sons Buddy of Enid, Okla., Billy (Kandy) of Hesston, daughter Belinda (Bobby) Spencer of Tuttle, Okla., sister Nita (Harold) Pearl of Harper, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Sondra Peterson.
There are no funeral services planned. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Midian Shriners of Wichita for the Plain of Mercy Hospital in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, 107 S. Lancaster, P.O. Box 32, Hesston, KS 67062.
