Obituary

Floyd Dean Williams Jr., 29, died Monday (Nov. 15, 2010) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita.

He was born on July 17, 1981, in Wichita to Floyd Dean and Mary Ann (Luna) Williams. He was a graduate of Sedgwick High School and was a resident of Wichita for the last 10 years. He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Wichita.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Luna, Sedgwick; father and step-mother Floyd Sr. and Sonja Williams, Wichita; sisters, Amy Williams, Plymouth, Minn., and Tamiko Williams, Marino Valley, Calif.; grandmother, Teofila “Josephine” Luna, Sedgwick; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Halstead. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Halstead with Father Steven Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick. Memorials may be given to Project Independence of Sedgwick County in care of Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead.
