Wilcox, Arthur
The Evening Kansan-Republican
Arthur E. Wilcox died at his home at 422 West Sixth Street this forenoon about 11:30, following a long hard siege of influenza, which terminated in a hard attack of pneumonia and other complications. He had been critically ill for several days, and in fact his life had been despaired of. Mr. Wilcox owned and operated the barber shop under the First National Bank.
He leaves a wife, stepson Albert Baer, and family at the home. It was stated at noon today that Mr. Baer was critically ill from the effects of the influenza, as was also Mrs. Baer and their little child. Mr. Wilcox also leaves two brothers in Idaho, a brother and sister in Los Angeles, and a brother in Nebraska.
Mr. Wilcox is now at the Sprinkler chapel, waiting arrangements for the funeral, which will be announced later.
