Isaac, Frank



Frank Isaac, 80, retired farmer and seed dealer, died Friday (Jan. 5, 2001) in Newton.

He was born June 24, 1920, to Kornelius and Agnes (Penner) Isaac in Reedley, Calif. He married Jeannette Rutschman July 5, 1942, in Whitewater. She survives. He was a member of the Swiss Church in Whitewater and the El Dorado Camp of Gideons International. He graduated from Dinuba High School in Dinuba, Calif., and attended Biola College for five years in Los Angeles.

Other survivors include: a son, Gary Isaac of Newton; three daughters, Sherrilyn Fisher of Prairie Village, Nancy Klaassen of Mountain Lake, Minn., and Cynthia Kurr of Newton; a brother, Henry Isaac of Reedley, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today and from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bob Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Swiss Church Cemetery. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Swiss Church with Pastors Dale Janzen and Arnold Ensz officiating. Memorials have been established with Gideons International, Africa Inter Mennonite Mission and the Swiss Church Building Fund, all in care of the funeral home, 216 S. Main Street, Whitewater, KS 67154.
