Obituary

The death of Mrs. Frank Lawton occurred this morning at 2:40 at Bethel Hospital. She was taken to the hospital in the night with the hopes that an operation for appendicitis might save her life. The abdominal cavity was found filled with pus and only a drainage could be established, but this did not avail, and she succumbed early this morning. She is survived by her husband. Their home was northeast of Newton. Her body was taken to the Wallace undertaking parlors. No arrangements have been made for the funeral.
