Obituary

Carson Steven Hubbard, 6, died Saturday (Dec. 18, 2010) peacefully at home after a two year battle with cancer.

Carson was born on Feb. 26, 2004, in Derby. He was a student at Sunset Elementary in Newton. He loved spending time with his family, spicy food and anything and everything dinosaur.

Carson is lovingly survived by his mother, Kristan Hubbard of Newton; his brothers, Connor Hubbard of the home and Tyler Soliday of Wichita; grandparents, Donald and Barbara Taylor of Newton and Daryl Hubbard and Sandy Schuster of San Diego; aunts and uncles, Kimberly and Mark Werth of Wichita and Amy and Randy Payne of Newton; also, aunts and uncles in San Diego. Carson also had several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Hubbard.

A book signing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday with the family greeting visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. A book signing also will be held from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. on Thursday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. The family requests remembrances be sent to the Carson Hubbard Memorial Fund at Midland National Bank.
