Obituary

M’Lisse Klein, 45, died surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday (Dec. 21, 2010) at her sister’s home.

She was born on Feb. 7, 1965, in Murray, Utah, to Stanley and Kay (Yarbrough) Peterson. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Newton Ward. M’Lisse enjoyed gardening and flowers. Being a mother was her most important job, and she greatly enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friends. She also was involved in and followed her children’s sports teams at Newton High School.

She is survived by her parents, Stan and Kay Peterson of Wichita; daughter, Danielle Klein of Newton; son, Elijah Klein of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers, David Peterson of Bella Vista, Ark., Matthew Peterson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Joseph Peterson of Romoland, Calif.; and sisters, Mary Hitchcock of Hemet, Calif., and Wendy Holmes of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by one son, Seth Dylan Klein.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 26) with the family receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. at Petersen Funeral Home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Newton Ward. Memorials are suggested to the M’Lisse Klein memorial fund in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
