Obituary

Larry R. Green, 73, died on Monday (Dec. 27, 2010) at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.

He is survived by three daughters, Dawn Miller and Brandy Welsch of Newton and Laura Thompson of Lawrence; three brothers; three sisters; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Beverly Mapes.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kansas Christian Home Chapel with Chaplains Denny Bell and Roger Megli presiding. Petersen Funeral Home in Newton is in charge of the arrangements.
