Lois W (Gass) Bramlett

Lois W. Bramlett, 86, retired Hertzler Clinic RN, died on Thursday (Dec. 30, 2010) at Buhler Sunshine Home in Buhler.

She was born on Dec. 30, 1924, in Anthony to Howard L. and Ada E. (Montague) Gass. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Halstead. On Oct. 24, 1960, she married George D. Bramlett in South Houston, Texas. He died on Dec. 1, 1996.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Jerry) Hughes of Millican, Texas, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Bramlett, and brothers, Phillip and Monte Gass.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 2, 2011) at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday (Jan. 3) at Kaufman Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Bammel will officiate. Interment to follow at the Halstead Cemetery in Halstead. Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church in Halstead, in care of Kaufman Funeral Home.
