Obituary

Ruth V. Jantzen, 89, died Tuesday (Jan. 4, 2011) at the Moundridge Manor.

She was born on June 3, 1921, to David W. and Ida Johnson Koehn. She was a homemaker. She married Clarence E. Jantzen on Nov. 17, 1946. He died on March 12, 2006.

She is survived by sons, Byron, Delano and Wendell; daughters, Rita Hochstetler and Georgia Hochstetler; brothers, Elmer Koehn, Richard Koehn and Gladwin Koehn; sisters, Lillian Koehn, Hazel Smith, Eunice Schmidt and Naomi Hiebert; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday (Jan. 7, 2011) at Moundridge Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 8) in Moundridge at the Gospel Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Church Cemetery in rural Moundridge. Memorials are suggested to Moundridge Manor, in care of the funeral home.
