Jeremy Alan Chard

Janet Hoag and Jeremy Chard, both of Newton, were married during a 2 p.m. July 6, 2001, ceremony in Trelawny, Jamaica, on the beach. The Rev. Lansford Lawrence officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Unetta Hoag of Newton and the late John Hoag Jr. The groom is the son of Debbie and Barney MaHoney of Halstead and Daniel Phennegger of Sedgwick.

Musician was Kenny Chesney. A reception was beachside in Trelawny, Jamaica. Hostesses were Beverly Hawthorne and Josephine Roxbound, both of Jamaica.

The couple took a wedding trip to Trelawny, Jamaica, and they have made their home at 913 Westridge Drive, Newton KS 67114.

The bride is a graduate of Newton High School and is employed by Bank of America. The groom attended Newton High School and is a graduate of Hutchinson Community College. He is employed by Full Vision.
