Fire investigators located the body off Robert H. Siemens in the burnt out structure at 9911 Southwest 36th, Halstead.

At 10:20 a.m. today fire crews were paged to 9911 Southwest 36th, Halstead, for a residential structure fire. Upon arrival, Harvey County Deputy Scott Motes met with a woman who said as she was running out the back door, her husband was rushing into the home. Motes attempted to locate her husband, but the home was fully engulfed in flames and smoke.

The structure is a total loss, value is unknown at this time.

Burrton, Halstead, Hesston, Moundridge, Newton and Sedgwick fire departments were paged to the fire.
