Preston E. Nebergall
WICHITA -- Preston E. Nebergall, 74, manufacturing supervisor, died Wednesday (Aug. 27, 2003) at Robert J. Dole Medical & Regional Center in Wichita.
He was born Sept. 25, 1928, to John Mack and Edith (Smith) Nebergall in Newton. He married Kathy Johnson July 13, 1966, in Newkirk, Okla. She survives of Wichita.
He was a Wichita resident for 15 years, moving from Salina.
Other survivors include: three sons, Murray Nebergall of Wichita, Todd Davis of Newport News, Va., and Scott Davis of Quinter; two daughters, Debra Smalley of Newton and Kelly Nebergall of Bel Aire; two brothers, Russell Nebergall of Hesston and Jim Nebergall of Lawrence; a sister, Peggy Hamm of Bella Vista, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He also was preceded in death by: a sister, Hildred Denney; and a grandson, Eric Smalley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Moundridge Funeral Home in Moundridge.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mound Township Cemetery in rural Moundridge with Pastor Tim Classen officiating.
Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society and Harry Hynes Hospice of Wichita, both in care of the funeral home, 115 E. Cole, Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
