Obituary

Doris J. Reimer, 77, passed away on Saturday (Jan. 15, 2011) at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita.

She was born on June 22, 1933, in Newton, the youngest child of Gustav and Justina Harder Reimer. She had her master’s degree and was a retired librarian from Leavenworth schools.

She is survived by her brother, Charles and wife, Donna Reimer of Wichita; sisters-in-law, Berniece Reimer of Newton and Gladys Reimer of Whitewater; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Adolf, Marie and Willard Reimer.

Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. Burial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Emmaus Mennonite Cemetery near Whitewater. Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Grace Hill Mennonite Church near Whitewater.
