Anderson, Viola - Personal History

History

Viola Mae Anderson was born Sept. 26, 1897 at Dunkirk, Ohio, Daughter of Phillip and Daisy Kratzer. She was married to Clark Anderson Dec. 5, 1925. She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband and her mother Mrs. Harry Koontz, Alger, Ohio, three sons Harvey of Denver, Colorado., Joseph Ray of Roswell, N. M., and Nathaniel Ray of Wichita, Kansas; two daughters Mrs. Evelyn Parks of Wichita, and Thelara Fortson, Oklahoma; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a devoted mother and wife, and gave much time and service to the Church of God in Christ where she was a faithful member. Her greatest joy in life was making a pleasant home for her family and serving as Mother of her Church. Her sincere and friendly personality endeared her to all who knew her,
although she was often in pain she was always kind and thoughtful for the welfare of others. Her steadfast faith in God never faltered. She took courage from the 37th Psalm which reads in part: "The salvation of the righteous is of the Lord. He is their strength in their time of trouble."
