Obituary

Earl Ray Roth, 77, died Monday (June 12, 2006) at Memorial Home in Moundridge.

He was born Jan. 22, 1929, to Emanuel and Esther P. Suenram Roth in Moundridge. He married Dorothy Talbott Sept. 25, 1949, in Halstead. She survives. He had been a Moundridge resident for four years, moving from Arlington. He graduated from Moundridge High School in 1947. He was the owner of Earl Roth Motors in Arlington from 1963 to 2000. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Moundridge.

Other survivors include: a son, James Roth of Dallas; a daughter, Janet Moore and husband Brian of Newton; a sister, Lora L. Tinkler of Augusta; grandchildren, Derek Moore, Dustin Moore, Nikketa Davis, Tiffany Moore, Doug Roth, Heather Webb and Abby Roth; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elinor D. Parks.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Moundridge Funeral Home Chapel. A cremation has taken place. Memorials have been established with Moundridge United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home, 115 E. Cole, Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
