Obituary

Betty Lorraine Koehn went to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday (Jan. 29, 2011).

She was born on April 10, 1929, in Riverside, Calif., to Edward Burt Covey and Helen Marie Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loel Koehn in May 2006.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Debi Kasper and Nancy Riner. She is survived by three sons, Robert Kasper, Randy Kasper and Rick Kasper. Betty has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were three sisters Annette, Shirley and Penny. Ashley Alvarez, her granddaughter, was such a great help and blessing to Betty in her final years of life. Betty had many nephews and nieces; one that she will hold close to her heart is Marie Sonner.

Betty was loved by everyone who were so blessed to know her. Betty will be missed by all. Memorials can be sent to Presbyterian Manor or Hospice Care of Kansas in Newton.
