Gladys L. (Havens) White, 79, 500 Myrtle, a retired supervisor for Hurst Products of Newton, died Sunday (Oct> 28, 1990) at Halstead Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Petersen's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens of Memory.

She was born Dec. 10, 1910, in Newton, the daughter of Floyd and Pearl (DeWalt) Havens. On July 6, 1945, she married Frank Louis White in Newton. He died June 19, 1983. She was a member of St. Luke United Presbyterian Church, the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries, all of Newton, and was a lifelong Newton resident.

Survivors include three daughters, Becky Solis ofd Newton, Debbie Mackey of Peabody and Dee Jost of Larned; two brothers, Howard Havens and Virgil Havens, both of Newton; one sister, Helen Fritz of Mena Ark.; and six grandchildren.
