Frank Louis White, 68, 323 S. Kansas Ave., died Sunday (June 19, 1983) at his home in Newton.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Petersen's Funeral Home with the Rev. Boyd White officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn Gardens of Memory Cemetery in rural Newton.

He was born Dec. 19, 1914, in Buena Vista, Colo., the son of William and Louise White. He had lived in Newton for more than 40 years, coming here from Marysville, Kan. He married Gladys L. Havens July 7, 1945, in Newton.

He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, the VFW, the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, all in Newton. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by two daughters, Becky (Mrs. Robert) Solis and Debbie (Mrs. Roy) Mackey, both of Newton; one step-daughter, Dee (Mrs. Gary) Jost of Larned; one brother, Ed White of Junction City; two sisters, Mary McDonald of Wichita and Madge Miller of Aurora, Mo.; and six grandchildren. Two brothers, Harold and Pat, preceded him in death.
