Obituary

LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Gladys D. Cox, 94, homemaker, died March 7, 1999, in IHS Community Care in Laramie, Wyo.

She was born Feb. 1, 1905, in Brightshade, Ky., to Arthur and Allie E. (Lewis) Sizemore. She married Floyd L. Cox in Newton. He preceded her in death in 1966.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Newton. She lived in Newton before moving to Laramie, Wyo., 10 years ago. She also worked as a clerk and apartment manager.

Survivors include: one daughter, Anita Parker of Laramie, Wyo.; two sisters, Virginia Frese of Junction City and Nell Hiebert of Hillsboro; two grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton with the Rev. Michael Keating from First United Methodist Church officiating.
